At the terminal gate about to board a plane to Rome. Here we go!
Update: Then we flew about 30 minutes and then turned around and landed back at Newark airport .
They’ll be checking the plane for at least an hour to fix the backup fuel cap or something. Also, there were firetrucks waiting because we land with a full tank of fuel. Apparently landing “heavy” is bad for a plane so now the engineers have to check that all out too.
Then we reboarded the plane, then half and hour later , they announced that the head engineer in San Francisco had overruled the ground crew to ground the plane for the night. Then we all stole a plane parked.next door that was supposed to go to Buenos Aires. This has all been very confusing. But we get a free drink voucher!
